R.I.P. my dear brother and nephew Steven. You are sorely missed. And thought of fondly often.
My brother has been the “wind beneath my wings” as far back as I can remember and still is. Living his life by example inspired by Christ-Jesus’ lead. To say the least, he walked the talk with mindful intention. And vision, compassion, empathy with a fierce fire and love for life. A devoted family man all the way. He taught me and so many how to be love and loved-fully.
He sent me this photo of himself shortly after I sent him mine. Ah sweet royal lilacs. Words cannot describe profound grief, and true unconditional love and gratitude.
Many new story-filled songs are finding their wings too. I love deeply our big beautiful Italian family, and extended family & friends.
If reading, you have made and continue to make the best differences in how I walk. Ref. my song, Visions. Thank you for loving me the way you may and or may not always understand my ways. I am grateful for you and that God is good, yes, all the time.
This is a reflection I wrote for Anthony’s celebration of life service. Tears of so many emotions still flow. I suspect they will all the days of my life. On earth as in heaven. I have one for Steven as well. May share another time. Too much right now. Creating this website is and has been helpful to come though grief.
