Before & After, Hmm.

What a rocker I looked like. Haha-Photo ~ Ebett Roberts NYC

Hmm. Now this ought to be entertaining and insightful. To say the least, lol…Gentle-lovingly shared. No worries only great photos of others throughout this journey together. Indeed.

Now this photo, what can I say. A dear friend recently sent this to me. It is on his music room wall of fame. Of course, I am honored. And reminds me of the really talented prolific Singer-Song writer’s song, Todd Scheffer’s-Solo artist, and a member of the bands, From Good Homes, and Railroad Earth; title and lyrics: “Mom I am a Mess” I must confess I don’t fit squarely in the picture.” (Treat yourself, via-on-line, find all of them and the indeed, the song.) I have tried to fit in the box too many times. It seems however mmm, I guess (my ego?) and brown curly hair are just too big, haha.

Ha-ha sounds just about right for many creatives. Oh, the before and after…Hmm, oh after one with blind faith stumbles and falls all over oneself and others. Oh, yah know this, that, and other things. Then continues to…grow up. And finds true self love. To then really give and receive unconditional love. I am sowing grateful I met Christ-Jesus has a teenager when a wise teacher asked, “who wants to me Jesus?” Heck yeah, my hand went right up! Oh, if I only knew more of the word sooner than later. In short, yes knowledge is power. Mmm! Hint, hint, love is alive and well.

At times I really was a mess. Lol… Photo ~ my sister.

Lol…Yes, I am a before and after make-up and hair person.

I can’t even…at times…I am reminded not to take myself or people, place and things too seriously.

As you may image, I have and still do take lots of deep breaths and laugh and cry whenever needed. Good for the mind, body and soul.

Photo ~ Erin Mills Ah…all good with peaceful perspective and forward-thinking vision.

Also reminds me of one of my songs, titled: Calling Your Name. First lyric line, “So much has happened I don’t know where to begin.”  it is actually a somewhat funny backstory and endearing song that came from serious origins. With all due love and respect, about a friends’ neighbor yelling his ex-wife’s name in the middle of the night. My friends could hear him from afar. (Ironically, both wives shared the same name! You never know where ideas are going to be sparked.

“Energy goes where attention flows. Hmm. What’s your attention on?
